What to Expect During the Hydro Jetting Process
Hydro jetting is often recommended when regular drain cleaning methods are not enough. This process is designed to scour the inside of your sewer line clean, removing everything from grease to soap scum and hair, and flushing them out of your plumbing system. Hydro jetting is all-natural—only high-pressure water is used, so you won’t have to worry about any abrasive chemicals or substances affecting your sewer pipes.
Here’s what to expect when you schedule hydro jet cleaning:
If the camera inspection reveals severe buildup in your sewer line, but your pipes are otherwise healthy, we will move forward with the cleaning. Our team will insert a hose through the sewer cleanout and begin the hydro jetting process. In order to ensure that your pipes remain unharmed, we will apply the correct amount of water pressure (typically 2,000 to 4,000 PSI for residential and commercial properties).
After cleaning is complete, we will conduct a second camera inspection to make sure your sewer line is completely cleared out and that the job meets our quality standards.
